More About Hoi An

Unlike Northern Vietnam, Hoi An is a city of two seasons with warm weather averaging 29°C dominating for most of the year. The wet monsoon season spans the months from September through to January with a dry season for the rest of the year. Most days temperatures average between 25°C and 30°C with the hottest months being June and July. December delivers cool breezes to Hoi An, making it perfect for exploring town although the most pleasant temperatures are between February and April. Rainfall is also low, making these months a great time to visit. If you are a beach lover, then make your trip a little later towards the beginning of June when long hot sunny days are guaranteed. Monsoon conditions also influence the weather in Hoi An with heavy rains starting in September and ending sometime in January. Hoi An is best avoided during the rainy months, especially in October and November when flooding is usually a problem. The areas close to the waterfront can experience severe conditions during this time.
