Marbella and Costa del Sol has a subtropical climate. In the summer, from May to August, it’s always warm with clear skies. August is the warmest month and the temperature is around 30-35 celcius, daytime. September with moderate temperatures and fewer tourists is really good option to visit Costa del Sol in generel. March, April and November the temperature is around 20 celcius, daytime. January is the coldest, between 14-16 celcius.

Several of beaches in Marbella also boast the prestigious Blue Flag awards, signifying they are the best in the world in terms of water quality, safety, facilities and environmental management. In addition to these blue flag promises, you can also find showers, public toilets (although no baby changing facilities!), rubbish bins, lifeguards and parasols and sunloungers to rent on the majority of beaches along the Costa del Sol.
